Flexibility

Although your Genie schedules activities at specific times they are not always fixed. For example, reviews start in the morning while follow-ups tend to be scheduled in the evening. If the student needs a follow-up slot to see their instructor at a convenient time, it is permissible to switch a review or self-test session for a follow-up on the same day. However, substituting activities between days is prohibited. As long as all of the scheduled activities are completed by the end of the day then maximum efficacy is maintained.

Resilience

Time Sheet Genie remains effective even when students fail to follow it exactly. Naturally, the greater the adherence the greater the benefit. Nevertheless, it has been encouraging to discover that student performance still improves even when the schedule is not strictly followed. Learning skills professionals can also help students with discipline and adherence, especially for those who struggle to follow routines.

Customization

Each institution is assigned a personal account manager. Your account manager is also your personal Genie programmer. Your requests are not filtered through layers of administration. Instead, you speak directly to the person who programs your Genie, meaning changes are dealt with promptly and accurately. By working closely with your program directors, instructors, or learning skills team, we customize your Genie to provide nuanced learning experiences. For example, if you tell us that some subjects are tougher than others, we'll increase pre-reading, synthesizing, and reviewing times accordingly.

Support

Time Sheet Genie offers unprecedented support. With an authorized Genie account you have direct access to your account manager via email, phone, and video conferencing. Authorization also gives you access to online toolkits, such as the weighted grade calculator which tells students their earned scores in a course, and how many marks they still need to pass it. You will also have access to a carefully curated selection of training and information videos related to learning skills, and the activities expected by the Time Sheet Genie.
